What is SNAP 2026?

SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is a national-level MBA entrance examination conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission into its 15 campuses located in Pune, Bangalore, Noida, Nashik, Hyderabad, and other cities. SNAP cut-off varies depending on specializations and campuses. The exam is conducted once per year with three exam dates. Candidates can take three attempts in SNAP, and the best of the three scores will be considered for SIU admission.

SNAP 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should note that the eligibility criteria for the exam and admission eligibility will differ. The admission eligibility will be based on the institute and MBA program. Candidates should verify their eligibility for each institute and the program individually.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates should have obtained an undergraduate degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks for the general category (45% marks for SC/ST).
• Candidates still in the final year of their undergraduate can apply. However, their admission will be provisional on the basis of obtaining a minimum of 50% marks in the undergraduate.
• Candidates with a qualification from a Foreign University are required to present an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Age Limit

• Age is no bar to appear in the SNAP Exam.

SNAP 2026 Exam Pattern

SNAP pattern is prescribed by the exam conducting body under Symbiosis International (Deemed University). As per the latest question paper, SNAP has three sections:

Duration: 60 minutes  ·  Mode: CBT  ·  Negative Marking: 25% per wrong answer (0.25 marks)

SNAP 2026 Syllabus

Candidates preparing for the SNAP exam must know the official syllabus. The SNAP exam syllabus is prescribed by Symbiosis International (Deemed University). As the exam is conducted for admission to MBA programmes, SNAP syllabus includes subjects pertaining to development of managerial skills.

General English (15 Questions)

• Reading Comprehension: Passages with inference-based questions
• Verbal Reasoning: Syllogisms, Analogies
• Verbal Ability: Grammar, Antonym-Synonym, One Word Substitution
• Parajumbles: Arranging sentences in logical order
• Fill in the Blanks: Vocabulary and grammar-based

Analytical & Logical Reasoning (25 Questions)

• Logical Reasoning: Puzzles, arrangements, blood relations, directions

• Critical Reasoning: Arguments, assumptions, conclusions

Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency (20 Questions)

• Data Interpretation: Column Graphs, Pie Charts, Tables, Caselets

SNAP 2026 Registration Process

The first step to apply for the SNAP exam is to register online. Follow the process to complete SNAP registration:

1. Visit the official SNAP website and click on Register.
2. Fill in the details required. Then click on “Save & Continue” to generate an OTP.
3. Enter the OTP and click “Submit” to successfully register.
4. Login using the Credentials sent to your registered email and phone number.
5. Fill in the necessary details of the form.
6. Upload a passport-size photograph (not older than 3 months) in .jpg, .jpeg, .png, or .gif format. File size: 10KB to 5MB.
7. Pay the non-transferable and non-refundable registration fee online.
8. After paying the SNAP registration fee, candidates must pay the programme registration fee.

SNAP Selection Process

SNAP selection process includes shortlisting of candidates through SNAP for Group Exercise (GE), Writing Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interaction (PI). Final selection is based on both SNAP score and GE-WAT-PI performance.

Selection Stages

1. SNAP Exam: The first stage is the computer-based test with 60 MCQ questions.
2. Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted based on their SNAP score.
3. Group Exercise (GE): Group discussion or exercise to assess team skills.
4. Writing Ability Test (WAT): Essay writing on a given topic.
5. Personal Interaction (PI): Interview to assess motivation and fit.
6. Final Selection: Based on composite score of SNAP + GE + WAT + PI.
