Nationality
The candidates must hold Indian Citizenship
A Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement
A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India
Education:
A candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Final Year/Semester candidates can also apply only if they produce proof of their graduation on the date of the interview.
Age:
The minimum age of candidates should not be less than 21 and not be more than 30. Age Relaxation is applicable as per govt. norms for different category.

For each category, the number of attempts allowed in the RBI Grade B Exam is:

- There will be negative marking of 0.25 for each question.
- There is no sectional cut-off.
- For every exam student has to write prelims exam separately and cleared students will be eligible for mains.

- There will be negative marking: ¼ of the marks given question.
- There is no sectional cutoff.
- Descriptive English Language which will be taken separately on the same date of the exam.
Interview Process
The marks for RBI interview will be 100 marks. To get qualify a students should score 40% (35% for reserved category) marks. The interview will be conducted by the Participating Institutions and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of RBI.
Note: Final Selection will be based on mains and interview marks.
