IPMAT
Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to Integrated Program in Management (IPM) offered by IIM Indore, IIM Ranchi and other management colleges in India. IPMAT entrance test is being held every year in the month of june across 35 cities in the country.
Exam Calendar
With the Start & closing of the IPMAT registration window, IIM Indore opened a correction window wherein candidates can edit their photo, signature, alternate mobile number, email id, and city. The table below contains the schedule of IPMAT exam month for reference.

Eligibility Criteria IPMAT
The students must fulfill the eligibility criteria for IPMAT for admission to the five-year Integrated Programme in Management as mentioned below.
Age – Candidates belonging to the general category who were born on or after August 01, 2023, will only be able to fill out the application form of IPMAT. IIM Indore has also provided five-year relaxation to candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD category.
Qualification – Candidates should have qualified higher senior secondary or must be appearing in any equivalent examination.
Minimum Qualifying (%)- Candidates belonging to the general category should have a minimum of 60 percent marks in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations. However, 5 percent relaxation is given to candidates belonging to other categories such as SC/ SC/ PWD.
IPMAT Exam Pattern
IPMAT will be three sections; Quantitative Ability (multiple choice questions), Quantitative Ability (short answer questions), and Verbal Ability (multiple choice questions). Refer to the table below to know the IPMAT marking scheme.

Number System, Averages & Percentages, Roots, Indices, Surds, Simple & Compound Interest, Profit & Loss, Algebraic Formulae, Linear & Quadratic Equations, Ratio & Proportion, Partnership, Mixtures & Alligations, Time, Speed & Distance, Work-Related Problems, Pipes & Cisterns, Geometry: Lines, Angles & Triangles, Polygons, Circles & Mensuration, Permutations, Combinations, Probability, Matrices & Determinants, Functions, Logarithm.
Verbal Ability
Etymology & Roots, Idioms & Phrases, Analogies, Antonyms-Synonyms, Foreign Words, Noun & Pronoun Errors, Subject-Verb Agreement, Prepositions and Conjunctions, Tenses, Modifiers & Parallelism, Reading Comprehension, Inference based passages, Syllogisms, Logical Consistency, Deductive Reasoning.
IPMAT Indore Selection Procedure
Stage 1
IPMAT Aptitude exam candidates have to obtain minimum qualifying marks as per the cut-off that is prepared by IIM Indore to move on to the next stage.
Stage 2
Personal Interview candidates who qualify for the Aptitude Test round will be eligible for the Personal Interview. The interview judges the students’ level of confidence, communication skills and General knowledge.
